Refund policy
RETURNS
You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging.
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Personalised or engraved items
- Customised products
- Gift cards
- Consumable products
If you request engraving on your katana, your order becomes personalised and can no longer be returned. Please order without engraving if you would like to keep the option to return your item.
How to Request a Return
Contact us at contact@us-katana.com using the following format so our team can process your request quickly:

Once your return is approved, we will email you the return address and full instructions. Please do not send any item back before receiving this confirmation, as unauthorised returns cannot be processed.
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer, except when the item is defective, damaged or incorrect. In those cases we cover the return shipping. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot process a refund for a return that does not reach us.
We do not charge any restocking fee.
Order Cancellation
You can cancel your order at any time before it ships. Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, so please contact us as soon as possible at contact@us-katana.com. Once an order has shipped it can no longer be cancelled, but it remains eligible for return under the conditions above.
90-Day Defect Warranty (included)
Every order includes a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects, at no extra cost. If your katana shows a manufacturing defect within 90 days of delivery, we will repair, replace or refund it.
What it covers: manufacturing defects only.
What it does not cover: damage caused by use or misuse, improper maintenance or cleaning, normal wear, accidental damage, rust resulting from lack of maintenance, and any alteration or modification of the product.
Lifetime Warranty (optional)
The Lifetime Warranty is an optional add-on available at checkout for $9.99. It applies only to orders where this option was selected.
What it covers: manufacturing defects, for the lifetime of the product.
What it does not cover: damage caused by use or misuse, improper maintenance or cleaning, normal wear, accidental damage, rust resulting from lack of maintenance, and any alteration or modification of the product.
Conditions: the item must be returned in its original box with all included accessories, together with proof of purchase.
The Lifetime Warranty extends the included 90-day defect warranty for the lifetime of the product. It does not extend the 30-day return period. The Lifetime Warranty fee itself is non-refundable.
Damage and Issues
Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can assess the issue and resolve it. Photos of the item and of the packaging help us process your claim faster.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get a different item is to request a return. Once your return is approved, you can place a new order for the item you want.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Refunds cover the price of the returned product only. Shipping fees, the Lifetime Warranty fee and any other optional add-on purchased at checkout are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
Please allow 3 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.
If a refund fails for technical reasons, we will contact you to arrange an alternative method.
Disputes
If you have any issue with your order, please contact our support team first at contact@us-katana.com. We respond as quickly as possible and aim to resolve every issue fairly. If a dispute is opened with a payment provider, we will cooperate fully and provide all required information.
